From a farmhouse near Bourges, France, this oak 'fridge' has two lift up doors to the top which reveal zinc compartments for the storage of food and drink. There is a brass tap which can be fitted to a pipe inside to dispense liquid. There is another door at the front with a sweet little brass cup handle.
The patina is particularly beautiful, in all, a very special piece!
