Why antiques make great Christmas gifts

We are delighted to be opening our doors again in time for Christmas, we have missed seeing our lovely customers over the last four weeks. The showroom is stocked full of lots of pieces, including a large delivery of new pieces from our latest buying trip to France.

Although, antiques might not be the most obvious choice as Christmas gifts, they do offer a few things that most gift ideas do not. They offer uniqueness for the home and a thoughtful, sentimental value to the receiver. You will be most likely supporting an independent retailer like The French House, which after the year we have all had, seems more important than ever to shop small and support local.

Also, antiques as we have discussed in our blog ‘How antiques are contributing to ethical and sustainable shopping trends is a way to shop with a super-low carbon footprint and guilt free as we restore and update the past to its best and we source from trusted suppliers in France to ensure that we can keep our prices competitive.

We have put together a selection of gift ideas covering different budgets. Alternatively, we can offer Gift Vouchers in an amount of your choice.
