Not sure that this was originally an easel, but the addition of pegs allowing a picture to be propped seems to work really well, the heavy duty metal suggests something more agricultural.

The paint colour is original, a beautiful washed out shade of teal. There is quite obvious woodworm damage but we have absolutely 'soaked the whole thing' in pest control fluid.
