Gilt console with marble top

1800's Louis XVI styled gilt console table with a variegated pink marble top.

There is red boule nicely showing through the gilt finish, and some of the gilt has come away in areas.

The table base has a crinoline stretcher and features attractive carving to the frieze and legs.

There are some historic, and old repairs to cracks in the marble top, however, these are only really noticeable to the touch rather than visually owing to the veining in the marble.

We sourced this from a chateau south of Orleans, France.

We can quote to have the table re-gilded should you wish - please ask.
