A good-sized and very sturdy table which would work both as a small dining table or a rustic side/console table.
The metal base we have formed from reclaimed old school desks whilst the thick worn and well-used top may well have formerly been a butcher's block. The top is itself is a chunky 6cms deep and two of the corners are slightly rounded.
