A pretty and colourful ceramic pitcher, from the 'Artichaut' collection made by the famous French manufacturer, St Clément. The pattern imitates the leaves of an artichoke, hence the name. It is stamped on the base with the makers' mark, and dates back to the 1930s.
It has a historical crack by the handle and the rim (see photo) and a few minor chips in places due to age and use. We would recommend using it for decorative purposes only, and it would make a lovely vase.
