Elegant pair of mid 1800's spindle back, cane seat chairs.
Louis XVI style, painted in a green/grey shade with fluted legs and pretty finials.
The paint is time-worn, and the chairs are strong and sturdy, and the cane seats are intact.
There is evidence of historical worm to the left hand chair, but this is long gone and we have treated both as a precaution.
From a chateau in the Bourbonnais region of France.
