We have 1 of these rustic A-frame stools which we sourced in Aubusson in central France. The 1 remaining has an historic split in the top (see right hand side, 2nd photo).

With chunky legs and a carry handle top. They have oak tops and pine bases which have old worm holes present, but this is long gone and we have treated for peace of mind.
