A soft white and beautifully textured chalk on canvas, set in a carved gold coloured frame.
In the bottom left is written 'Marie Therese Caret Paris 1902'.
The sitter is wearing a large lace bonnet with a yellow ribbon and a white blouse.
There are some gold losses to the frame, but mainly on the sides and top, and not visible from the front.
We will fit hanging gear on to the reverse.
