1950's industrial desk lamp by Ferdinand Solere for SolR Paris, France.
The maker's mark is stamped on the side of the stainless steel arm.
Heavy, the lamp has twin bulbs which are operated by two switches on the back of the shade. The bulbs are covered by a blue plastic bulb cover "Solersol" to diffuse the light.
Made from an orange coloured lacquered metal, the finish is now well worn with spots of rust and discolouration throughout.
We have rewired the lamp and renewed the felt under the base.
We sourced this from a house in Burgundy, France.
