Louis XVI mirror with a stylised urn crest filled with flowers flanked by two cherubs.
The ornately decorated frame has twisted scrolls .
The original mirror plate is pocked with light foxing throughout. There are areas of losses of mercury to top of the mirror plate and more noticeably a patch on the left hand side (see photos). The mirror is still very usable though.
From a doctor's house in Premery, Nievre, France.
