Child sized occasional chair.
With needlepoint panel. There are some beautiful gilded floral decorations along the frame; on the reverse the initials of the gilder are present meaning a qualified gilder worked on the chair. With turned legs and gold coloured studs.
The old black velvet is quite worn, and the springs are bouncy.
Nevertheless, the chair remains a truly handsome piece.
