Pair of Louis XVI armchairs (inc. re-upholstery, ex. fabric)

Very hard to find pair of armchairs c.1790, of larger scale and in excellent structural condition.

These are hand made and carved, and all joints are mortice and tenoned.

The original paint was a mid grey, typical of the late 18th century, and can be seen in several places where the later, 19th century paint, has worn away.
