A near identical pair of Napoleon III salon chairs, with an ebonised frame, colourful patterns and gilded detailing throughout, and sabre legs. The colours are slightly faded on one of the chairs (right). Sourced from Nevers, Loire Valley.
Each chair has four finials fixed to the top edge of the backrest, however there is visible damage. All other spindles are complete and in very good condition.
With sprung seats, the upholstery is lightly worn in places, but remains usable. We can quote to re-upholster, as well as replace the finials; please ask.
