Thonet cafe chair

Timeless cafe chair, by Thonet and with the makers marks present.

Mid 20th century and has a wonderfully curved back rest and solid seat. There are inverted "u" shaped stretchers on all sides of the chair under the seat.

There is evidence of use; scuffing in places, but it is sturdy and solid. We have a very similar one to this but not by Thonet should you wish to make a near pair - please ask.
