Mid 1700's double wardrobe

A nicely proportioned and very handsome solid oak double wardrobe fitted internally with a brass hanging rail.

 The beautiful mid brown patina is the result of having layers of wax applied over the years leaving it with a lovely soft sheen finish.

The front is panelled and has large iron hinges to the corners of each door. The key is missing, so the lock doesn't function; the doors simply push shut. Wonderfully preserved, the wardrobe is in very good condition. 

The wardrobe doesn't dismantle for transportation.
