A large and heavy late 1700s trumeau mirror, by Maison Bonnardet, from Lyon.
The maker's mark remains on the back. The original mirror plate has foxing in places but is usable.
The decorative top panel is painted with a blue-grey marble effect and is adorned with a plaster cherub face in the centre, two animal figures - possibly lions - and two rosettes on either side.
The rest of the frame is painted in a stronger, turquoise blue.
With a panelled back and ready to hang.
