From a fine house in Bourges, France, we have this beautifully patinated 19th century elm cabinet. Its original purpose was a desk with a writing slope.
Both the hinged top and the front door open to reveal storage space.
There are historical wormholes evident but these do not detract from the beauty of the piece. We have treated it for peace of mind.
