A striking 1930s octagonal acid-etched glass vase with a black glass base, by the world-famous crystal studio Daum, based in Nancy, northeastern France. The maker's name is etched on the base. The glass on the inside of the vase is clear and smooth to the touch.
Sadly, this vase has two visible chips on the rim (see photos). However, it remains in usable condition.
