Dated 1950 this is a beautiful fabric sample book from the 'Crepatte Strauss et Fils' company which traded in fabrics, specialising in silks and woollens for haute couture.
They resided at 43, Rue Grenete, Paris.
The exterior of the book is in fair condition; the front cover is no longer attached and has some water marks. Internally, the fabric samples are intact and remain in beautiful condition, retaining their lovely colours and textures.
There are also some notes written by hand in pencil.
