Early 1800's gilded frame mirror.
The frame is adorned with moulded floral, leaf and scrollwork carvings along the borders and corners.
There are some losses in all of these ares and the bottom left has had a new piece recently, and sympathetically added.
There are pleasing glimpses of red boule nicely coming through the gilding in places.
The original mirror plate is foxed, tricky to photograph, but these areas are mainly located near the perimeter meaning it is very usable.
The mirror can hang either way. From a residence in Paris.
