A beautiful 19th century Louis Philippe secretaire in walnut on bracket feet.
With a large drop-down writing pad covered in green leather with 2 brass brackets to each side. The interior is particularly beautiful with a bank of five drawers over a secret pull out drawer and a large recess area.
In addition there is a large cushion drawer to the top, below a black marble top with moulded edge.
A further 3 good sized drawers with dovetail joints sit below the writing slope.
There are some historical worm holes on the reverse (none on the front), however, we have treated it for peace of mind. From a fine house in Burgundy, France.
