Book matched chest of drawers in walnut veneer with a bullnosed edge marble top. The top drawer has brass buttons on the insides that allow the front to drop down to be used as a writing desk.
There are little storage drawers to the rear of top drawer too. There are a further three drawers with ample space for storage.
Each of the sides are flanked with slim, turned columns and the unit sits on bracket feet.
The drawer locks are no longer working and there are some signs of use to the marble top.
There are small areas where the wooden decorations are missing, not hugely noticeable though. All in all a very attractive piece.
