19th century rare, and early print on canvas; the old technique used was to print on tin using metal plates before applying this to the canvas.

The print depicts a mother and child set amongst wild flowers whilst a peacock on the top left looks on.

In its original tobacco coloured crushed velvet covered frame, with embroidered crest and shaped top.

From a chateau near Nevers in the Loire Valley, France.
